The Irish government announced the preliminary results of the country's first large-scale renewable energy auction. If these results are confirmed, it means that in the auction launched at the end of April, the allocated clean energy power generation facilities will exceed 2,237 GWh.

The country’s Minister , Eamon Ryan, said these results are very competitive and save a lot of money compared to previous support programs. The capacity purchased by the country has enabled them to take the right step on the road to achieving the 70% renewable energy target in 2030. Solar power plants have the largest share, with approximately 796 megawatts of power generation capacity.
